Refuge

Refuge is a national charity that provides a lifeline for women and children escaping domestic violence. We have the following opportunities for committed female* applicants.

You must have experience of providing support to women, and knowledge of current housing/welfare rights and legal/criminal legislation relating to domestic violence. A recognised social work/counselling/housing qualification would be desirable.

You will have excellent casework skills, good written and verbal communication skills, clear professional boundaries and the ability to give emotional and practical support to women who have experienced domestic violence.

The candidate must have a commitment to the values of empowerment, support and equality, which underpin all the work undertaken by Refuge.
