Job / Volunteer Outline Description |
ADVANCE is looking for a Female Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) to join our Hammersmith project, West London. You must be able to work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention service and have a good understanding of the dynamics and effects of domestic violence. Experience of; the Criminal and Civil justice systems; face-to-face work with survivors of domestic violence; risk assessment; risk management and safety planning is essential. Working hours are 35hrs a week 10am – 6pm, plus out of hours on- call work on a rota basis from a mobile at home 1 week in every 4 Start Date: ASAP NB: post is subject to ongoing funding.
