Female Refuge Worker
Salary SP 26 – 30 £25,191 – £28,401
Fixed Term Contract – six months (extension subject to continued funding)

Eaves is a London-based charity working to support vulnerable women through a range of complementary services.

As a Refuge Worker at this scheme, you will participate in a 24-hour shift rota including work at the weekend and sleep-ins. A sleep-in allowance is paid in addition to the basic salary.

Skilled in working with vulnerable women, you will be committed to supporting women and children affected by domestic violence. Using your knowledge of the issues facing women and their children who have experienced domestic violence, together with your excellent planning and case work skills, you will provide advice and advocacy support in one or more of the following areas: housing, welfare benefits or domestic violence.

Eaves offer a generous 30 days’ annual leave (pro rata) and a 7% non-contributory pension scheme. Successful applicants can expect support to progress in the role through a structured training and development package.
