OBJECT PA:
OBJECT is looking for a PA/researcher. You would be carrying out basic research, fact finding and helping out with other admin-type work. You would need to be efficient and self reliant, have 1-2 hrs to spare a week and have a great email and telephone manner. Internet access is essential. You could mostly work in your own time, and from your own home but might need to make occasional phone calls during office hours. Lads’ mags researcher:
OBJECT is looking for an intern to produce short reports on lad’s mags. These would be written in a similar manner to our previous short reports on these publications (please view this OBJECT resource for an example). This work is definitely not for the faint hearted but it is an invaluable resource, and is a key way we can support activism, raise awareness and lobby for change. Research Support: Men’s attitudes to lap dancing/ perceptions of women
A researcher and OBJECT activist is looking for a London-based volunteer to help (1) distribute questionnaires in 3 areas of London and survey respondents in a non-biased, neutral manner (2) Input collected data (based in Holborn, flexible working hours). Total time commitment: 20 hours spread over 2/3 months. Knowledge with designing questionnaires, SPSS is a bonus, but NOT necessary. Women and men equally welcome.
