Iran: Women’s activist sentenced to six years
In April 2009, Ronak Safarzadeh a member of the Campaign for Equality has been sentenced to six years in prison for her peaceful activities. Send a letter to have Ronak’s sentence overturned.

South Africa: Rural women living in dire situation
Women in south african rural areas are extremely vulnerable. Often infected with HIV and under domestic violence, they have no access to medical health or any shelter to find help and protection. Amnesty is urging the government and local authorities to react.
