Lads’s mags content analysis
Object is looking for volunteers who can commit for a 6 month period to complete a (gender/sexism) content analysis of one publication per month. This would involve completing a short questionnaire and buying 6 magazines / newspapers over the 6 month period. If you are interested in assisting with this please email anna@object.org.uk
Mapping sexism
Help us to map the sexism that surrounds us and to make a record of how our complaints are dealt with to demonstrate the need for anti-sexism regulation. Please cc, bc or send copies of any complaints made about sexism in the media or popular culture and send photographs of examples you see of sexist advertising or graffiti that you come across to anna@object.org.uk so we can build a body of evidence about the prevalence of sex object culture.
