1. Community Food Growing Taster Day
For women who want to learn more community gardening skills
Thursday 25th June 9.30am-4pm
* A taster of organic gardening techniques in the urban community setting.
* Training in community development skills
* An introduction to Women’s Environmental Network and WEN’s Local Food Project
* Priority will be given to women living in Tower Hamlets
2. Community Composting-Training the Trainer
For women with some knowledge of composting who want learn how to train others in composting. Particularly women who are already working in community gardens. (This event is being held in partnership with Community Composting Network)
Wednesday 1st July 9.30-4pm
Both training events will be held at:
John Scurr Community Centre, 1a Bekesbourne Street, Limehouse, E14 7JQ.
