Temporary Female Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) at our Hammersmith project
From October 09 – March 10
Salary: SO1 POINT 29 £27,688 (including ILW)
You must be able to work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention service and have a good understanding of the dynamics and effects of domestic violence. Experience of; the Criminal and Civil justice systems; face-to-face work with survivors of domestic violence; risk assessment; risk management and safety planning is essential.
Working hours are 35hrs a week 10am – 6pm, plus out of hours on- call work on a rota basis from a mobile at home 1 week in every 5. This post is a temporary fixed term appointment for 6 months covering sabbatical leave.
