We are currently looking to recruit a:
VOLUNTEER CO-ORDINATOR

JWA has a small, dynamic staff team. As a national community charity we rely on dedicated volunteers to run several services, including our confidential helpline and free counselling service. You’ll be responsible for the recruitment, management, training and development of more than 110 volunteers. You will also take the lead on implementing the recommendations of a recent volunteer review, and develop a policy and strategic vision for volunteering. In addition, you’ll assist other staff in organising life skills groups for clients.
You’ll be enthusiastic, proactive and creative, and someone who enjoys working in a structured way. You will already have experience of managing volunteers, and will be passionate about the idea of voluntarism. Knowledge and understanding of domestic violence and the Jewish community is also essential.
