Eaves is a London-based charity working to support women through the provision of a range of complementary direct and second tier services. The organisation is looking to recruit an exceptional individual for the following post:

Female Refuge Worker
SP 26 – 30 £25,263 – £28,485

35 hours per week

Female Refuge Worker to work in our Kensington and Chelsea Domestic Violence provision. You will provide advocacy and support to women and children who have experienced domestic violence. You will conduct needs assessments and develop individual support and care plans. Your role will also include providing information and advocacy on areas such as housing, health, education, employment, child protection, legal rights and benefits.

You will possess:
• Knowledge of issues of issues facing women and their children who have experienced domestic violence
• Knowledge of key work, care planning and needs and risk assessment
• Significant experience in providing advice and advocacy in areas such as housing, welfare benefits or domestic violence
• Knowledge of health and safety in a supported housing environment

Eaves offer a generous 30 day’s annual leave (pro rata) and a 7% non contributory pension scheme. Successful applicants in permanent posts can expect to progress through a structured training and development package.
