The Women’s Library holds the most extensive collection of material relating to women’s history in the UK. It is housed in a purpose built building that hosts major exhibitions, events and full access to its collections. The Women’s Library is at the heart of the Special Collections at London Metropolitan University.
Audience Development Marketing Officer

* Salary: £24,309 – £27,705 per annum
We are looking for a dynamic Audience Development Marketing Officer who will transform the Library’s public profile and significantly develop its audiences. This key post manages the Library’s press and marketing strategies and campaigns, directs the web presence of the Special Collections and oversees the collection and evaluation of visitor data.
You will be proactive, challenging and enthusiastic, but also practical, able to work to deadline and getting the most from the inter-disciplinary team at The Women’s Library.
Fundraising Co-ordinator

* Hours: Part Time (21 hours per week) Fixed-term for a period of 3 years
* Salary: pro-rata of £21,495 – £24,309 per annum
We are looking for a Fundraising Co-ordinator to join a small team which raises funds for The Special Collections of London Metropolitan University. These are principally the TUC Library collections and The Women’s Library. The Women’s Library holds the most extensive collection of material relating to women’s history in the UK. It is housed in a purpose built building that hosts major exhibitions, events and full access to its collections.
Working closely with the Fundraising Manager, you will have a thorough understanding of quality customer service delivery and the capacity to deal sensitively with a wide range of people both in writing and in person. With a flexible and positive approach, you will have excellent IT, database and organisational skills and an eye for detail.
This initially three year post will offer an ambitious and innovative individual the chance to develop a wide range of fundraising skills and the opportunity to work with the Library’s donors and advocates. Work will involve all fundraising disciplines, but will focus on the provision of donor care and prospect cultivation through excellent database management and donor administration.
