Female Best Practice Development Officer – Lilith Research and Development

You will take the lead on disseminating information and best practice relating to violence against women across the women’s sector and beyond. As part of your capacity building role you will be responsible for facilitating London’s Sexual Violence Action and Awareness Network (SVAAN), increasing the diversity of the Network’s membership, in particular amongst organisations working with BME communities. In addition you will raise the profile of Lilith as a centre of excellence in the field of sexual violence.

You will need to have:
- Demonstrable experience of working in and building the capacity of the women’s sector
- Knowledge of research, legislation, policy and practice relating to all forms of violence against women, particularly sexual violence
- Experience of promoting best practice in tackling violence against women
- Experience of facilitating and servicing meetings and producing newsletters or similar.
