Advice and Outreach Worker

We are looking for an experienced Advice & Outreach worker – at least 18 months working knowledge of welfare benefits and housing. Knowledge of debt advice is also desirable. You will manage a client caseload and report to the Advice Coordinator. LIWC is a CLS Quality Marked service and you will be expected to have a knowledge of standards required and an understanding of the issues facing Irish women in London. We are seeking to develop our outreach and you will be involved with establishing and maintaining links with other Irish organisations across the capital.

The post is open to women of Irish birth or descent.

This post is currently funded full-time (35 hours) to July 2010 (extension will be applied for) and p-t to 2011.
£23,264 pa (f/t), plus 7.5% employer pension contribution.
