£150 per day; 2 days per week

Women and Girls Network is a leader in developing and delivering innovative and effective counselling services for women who have experienced any form of historic or recent gendered violence including childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, rape, torture, trafficking.

We are recruiting an outreach counsellor to work two days per week with women who have experienced gendered violence in Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. You must be BACP or UKCP accredited with at least three years’ post-qualifying experience working with survivors of violence.

You must be willing and able to work flexibly: the work involves travel within and between the boroughs of Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. Satellite partner venues and the days of service delivery may vary as new partner organisations come on-line.

An understanding of, and commitment to challenge gendered violence is essential as is an understanding of the issues faced by women from Black, Minority Ethnic and Refugee communities.
