ADVANCE has received funding from the Ministry of Justice to develop a new centre The Minerva Project for women in Hammersmith & Fulham which will deliver outreach services across Brent also. This is a new service being developed in line with the Together Women Project model developed through National Offender Management Service in 2006. At the moment this service is funded and all the posts are fixed term until March 2011.
We are looking for a small team of staff to support women offenders and those at risk of offending by developing a one stop shop service model for women who have complex and inter related social exclusion issues. We need highly experienced and self-motivated individuals and we still have a vacancy for 1 full time Project Manager. They will be heading up a team that will develop this service, deliver high quality support and motivate women away from the criminal justice system.
All the roles will encompass some planning & development; ensuring quality service delivery; resource acquisition; financial management; staff management and partnership working. Successful applicants will require a CRB check.
All roles include a 7% pension contribution after successful completion of probationary period.
ADVANCE is looking for:
A Female Project Manager (fixed term)
To be responsible for the set up and management of a women only centre offering holistic, practical and emotional support to divert women from offending. The centre is located in Hammersmith but services also are to be delivered in Brent. We need someone with a criminal justice background, management skills, project set up experience and experience of working with women.
Salary PO 2 Point 35 Inc ILW £32,213
The Project Manager will be responsible for setting up this new service with the organizations Director, managing the staff, supervising day-to-day centre and its activities which will include services being delivered from external partners.
We are looking for someone with proven skills of managing a busy team and demanding service; they must have excellent supervision skills, understand client risk assessment and partnership working. This is a full time post – 35 hours.
