Then this is your starting point – in just 10 weeks of intensive study you can achieve the NOCN Level 2 Gateway Diploma –your passport to higher education, and can gain you entry to the Access course which will take you on to University, a better Job and improved lifestyle.
This residential course is for women who need to achieve qualifications or are returning to education after a break and need to improve, broaden, and strengthen your skills.
Gateway will fully prepare you for the rigours of academic study and help you acquire the skills to participate in the workplace or with further study. You will build on your academic learning skills and build your confidence, helping you to manage your learning successfully. We want you to succeed and we want to make sure you are on a course that will ensure your success. Although you do not need any formal qualifications, we will ask you to complete an assessment (including an interview) and if we feel you still need a little more coaching then we can start you off on the Level 1 Gateway course which will quickly build up your confidence to take on to this Gateway Level 2 programme.
The qualification aim for this course is the National Open College Network (NOCN) Level 2 Progression Qualification Diploma.
