Advice & Support Caseworker for Older Women – Solace WA – 25th January 2010

Salary: NJC Scale point 26-30

Solace Women’s Aid has been funded by the Equality and Human Rights Commission to provide an innovative service for women aged 55+ who are affected by domestic and sexual violence. This role is based within our Advice team and involves providing individual support to women in this age group as well as developmental work in setting up a steering group for the project and delivering specialist training to London based practitioners.

We are looking for a female practitioner with a minimum of two years experience either in an advice role or supporting vulnerable adults. Our work is outcome based and requires collection of data and reporting to funders. Some experience of training design and delivery would be an advantage.
