KICKSTART your business, a three week-end course getting you up and running
- Part 1: Knowledge and Skills to Run your Business : 5-7 March 10
Part 2: Budgeting for Business : 26-28 March 10
Part 3: Viability of your Business Idea : 23-25 April 10
DESIGNED for women who are thinking about or have recently started a business. During this intensive 3 week-end course you will define or clarify your business or programme idea, check your skills to run and manage a business, create a checklist identify your business development needs, analyse the viability of your business idea, practise different market research techniques and identify potential customers and stakeholders. (Accreditation: – Level 3 ILM Award in Starting Your Enterprise).

- Starting Your Enterprise in Complementary Health : 12 – 16 April10
Starting Your Enterprise in the Creative Industries : 26 – 30-July 10
These courses are ideal if you have completed courses in complementary health or the creative industry and you are now thinking or looking at ways to earn some money from your skills.
Courses are designed for women who wish to run their own business and who have considerable experience in the area of complementary health or the creative industries and who want to make sure they are complying with relevant legislation (i.e., health and safety; governance etc.). (Accreditation: – Level 2 ILM Award in Exploring Business Enterprise).
Guest speakers will be used throughout the programme to motivate learners, conduct Question and Answer sessions and support learning from first hand experience.
