Full Time – Children’s Worker
Salary: NJC Scale Point 26-28 (£20,001 – £23,473 p.a)
We are looking for an experienced and flexible Children’s worker to provide individual and group support including organised play sessions to children (0-16) living in refuges and other forms of temporary accommodation across Greenwich. All of the families we work with have experienced trauma and loss due to domestic violence and have been forced to leave their homes. You will have a good understanding of working with families within a multi racial setting. Have excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as an understanding of the Every Child matters agenda, ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
