Women in Prison is a unique, national charity. We have the following vacancies, within The Piano Project, a new national project for ex/offenders supporting them into education and employment
Employment Engagement Advisor
£24,786 – £26,361 pa (35 hours per week) funded until 31 December 2011.
You will develop a comprehensive employer brokerage service providing a range of opportunities for women ex/offenders and provide individual support to women accessing employment. You will have extensive experience and success within effective employer engagement, together with extensive experience and knowledge of delivering information, advice and guidance to vulnerable groups. With excellent communication skills you will support employers providing opportunities.
Experience of supporting vulnerable women into work and of formulating individual action plans with clients regarding employment/education goals is essential.
Employment Caseworker
£24,786 – £26,361 pa (35 hours per week) funded until 31 December 2011.
Your role will involve the provision of information, advice and guidance to women both in prison and in the community, whilst empowering them to access education, training and employment opportunities. You will have experience of supporting vulnerable women into work and of formulating individual action plans with clients regarding employment/education goals. With excellent communication and assessment skills you will have a sound knowledge of the possible impact of imprisonment on women and their ability to access employment.
