Women in Prison Ltd is a unique, national charity. We currently have 5 vacancies:

* Community Services Manager (London)
* Criminal Justice Support Worker (4 posts – London x 2, Liverpool x 1, Manchester x 1)

Community Services Manager (London)
£32,844 – £34,068 pa (35 hours per week)
2 year fixed-term contract

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated manager to join our senior management team. You will provide strategic and operational management to specialist community-based and employment/education projects operating in the southern regions of England. You will have a minimum of 2 years experience of developing and managing targeted support projects for vulnerable people, including ESF funded projects. With significant experience of staff management, you will be an excellent communicator at both a service delivery and strategic level. A thorough knowledge of the difficulties facing women who have experience of the criminal justice system is essential.

Criminal Justice Support Workers (4 posts)

We are looking for innovative and creative staff to work within our new bail support pilot project. You will provide an initial advice, assessment and signposting service to vulnerable women in police/court custody suites, gathering information in support of bail applications where appropriate. Responsive to the needs of women, you will also develop short-term support plans that address their mental health, housing, domestic violence, substance misuse, financial and other identified needs. With extensive experience of supporting vulnerable women with complex needs (including problematic drug/alcohol use), you will also have experience of undertaking detailed needs/risk assessments and an NVQ3 in social care (or equivalent). Flexibility in terms of working hours is required.
