Female Domestic Violence Housing Worker
Salary: £27,945 (including ILW) Hammersmith
You will work within the local housing options and advice service in Hammersmith. You will provide a holistic service for survivors of domestic violence approaching as homeless. The post will be based across two locations in Hammersmith. You will carry a caseload of clients and offer a range of housing related advice and support to women experiencing domestic violence.
Office hours 9am to 5pm. You must be able to participate in an on call rota system from a mobile at home 1 week in every 8.
You will need a good understanding of current Housing Law and concept of Sanctuary Schemes, the effects of domestic violence, the Criminal and Civil justice systems, experience of face-to-face work with survivors of domestic violence and experience of risk assessment, risk management and safety planning.
