Trustee vacancies – Fawcett – 17th June 2010
Time for bolder, bigger action on women’s equality? We think so too.
The Fawcett Society, the UK’s leading campaigning organisation for women’s equality and rights is seeking new Trustees including a Treasurer, to help us further grow our influence, profile and size.
Our vision is of a future where women and men are equally valued and respected and have equal power and influence in decisions that affect our lives and wider society.
We campaign for legislative, policy and wider cultural change as well working to increase women’s participation, power and influence in decision making.
Our work has an impressive reach and impact at the most senior levels in politics, the media and business, but we are ambitious for more.
We are looking for new trustees with the skills, experience, energy and ideas to ensure sound governance and oversee our ambitious plans for growth that can support a real step change for UK women’s equality and rights.
These are voluntary positions, though reasonable expenses are payable.
