Membership Co-ordinator – OBJECT – 9th July 2010
Membership Co-ordinator
£300/month; 2 days/week
1 year post
OBJECT is the leading human rights organisation challenging the sexual objectification of women – the normalising of the pornography and sex industries in the media and popular culture. In 2009 our work with Fawcett Society changed the way lap dancing clubs could be licensed. Our work with EAVES also ensured new ground breaking laws to protect women in prostitution. In 2009 we were awarded the Emma Humphries Memorial Prize, a Capacity Builders Award and ‘highly commended’ in the Third Sector Charity Awards.
We seek a membership co-ordinator to fulfil the vital role of managing our membership base. This entails : liaising with new, existing and potential members, managing our membership databases, producing monthly membership reports and dealing with educational material and merchandise. You would need to be able to think logically, be highly organised, able to handle confidential information appropriately and have good interpersonal skills.
DEADLINE for applications: Fri 9th July
