If you’re considering teaching in the Lifelong Sector and want to know whether it’s right for you, this course will provide the perfect introduction. You’ll find out exactly what the job entails, identify the necessary skills, and learn how to start working towards gaining qualifications. You will need to have a level 2 qualification in English/Literacy. If you do not have one of these qualifications then through the Information, advice and guidance process plus an initial assessment a tutor will advise you what you need to do next to join this course. This course is the first stepping stone to a bright new future in Teaching.
Qualification:
Certificate in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS). This is a Level 3 qualification. There is no exam and the achievement is based on coursework.
