Telephone Helpline Volunteers – Women and Girls Network – 24th September 2010
Women & Girls Network is a multicultural organisation that provides counselling and therapeutic services for women overcoming experiences of violence, physical, sexual or emotional. We work with all women: lesbian, refugee, black minority ethnic and disabled. Women from these communities are particularly encouraged to apply.
Women & Girls Network are recruiting for: Telephone Helpline Volunteers
* Are you a woman motivated & passionate about making a difference in the lives of women & girls affected by violence?
* Are you able to volunteer once a week for at least one year?
Closing date: 1pm Friday 24th September 2010.
Interviews will be held on Wednesday 6th October 2010.
Mandatory training dates are 22nd and 23rd October, 29th and 30th October, 5th and 6th November with assessment days on 19th and 20th November. You MUST be able to attend all of these dates.
All selected applicants will receive our Accredited Helpline Volunteer Training Programme & supervision.
