This seminar and debate will bring together leading campaigners to discuss law and policy concerning the recent developments in civil legal aid provision and the impact on women.
Changes to the administration of civil legal aid have had a devastating impact on the availability of specialised and high quality family and immigration law advice and representation.
Join Rights of Women, one week after the announcement of the Comprehensive Spending Review, to debate with a panel of leading practitioners and campaigners on the impact of cuts to the civil legal aid budget and its administration on access to justice and gender equality.
Who should attend? This event is open to representatives from voluntary and statutory sector organisations interested in finding out about, and campaigning on, the law and policy related to access to justice and civil legal aid. It is open to women and men.
