Submit your work to the birds eye view film festival 2011 – 1st Oct and 5th Nov 2010
Birds Eye View celebrates international women filmmakers. Every March we run the UK’s major women’s film festival, showcasing outstanding work from leading and emerging women directors at London’s leading film venues including the BFI Southbank and the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA). Our patrons include Gurinder Chadha, Joanna Lumley and Mike Figgis.
We are looking for short films by women directors to screen as part of our 2011 festival.
Don’t miss this chance to be a part of it.
Submissions for the 2011 Birds Eye View Film Festival are officially open.
We are seeking short film submissions from women filmmakers from around the globe, to be part of an innovative and inspirational celebration of talent.
All events will be held at leading London film venues, including the BFI Southbank and the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA).
The Birds Eye View Film Festival 2011 will open with a special gala screening of short films on March 6th at the BFI Southbank. The rest of the festival will include retrospective screenings, live music, workshops and master-classes, feature and documentary screenings and Q&A’s with inspirational women in film.
We’re only looking for short film submissions this year, but will be showing a whole range of features and docs, old and new, plus other special goodies at the festival.
