An evening of beautiful music featuring talented female African artists from the Diaspora. It will be a night of celebration of African women and girl’s rights and the work FORWARD has done over the past 25 years.

    Sona Jobarteh – Gambian singer/songwriter/musician
    Maryan Mursal – Somali singer/songwriter
    Christina Oshunniyi – Performance artist

The Foundation for Women’s Health Research and Development (FORWARD) strives to safeguard dignity and advance the sexual and reproductive health and human rights of African women and girls. Our vision is that women and girls live in dignity, are healthy and have choices and equal opportunities to fulfil their potential.

We are celebrating our 25th Anniversary this year and will be holding a music concert to mark this milestone. We hope that you will be able to join us in our celebration to mark FORWARD’s 25th anniversary and journey to safeguard rights and dignity of African girls and women.
