Life After Redundancy – Women in Publishing Event – 13th October 2010
Join Women in Publishing at The Savoy Tup function room for our October meeting.
Our speakers are Suzanne Collier and Suzy Astbury.
Suzanne Collier is the founder of bookcareers.com and sees private clients for professional career development, and has many years experience in helping people refocus their careers after redundancy. For the past year Suzanne has donated some of her time to run a job club for those who have been made redundant from the industry.
Suzy Astbury joined Inspired Selection in May 2010 as Executive Consultant. Suzy is responsible for working with a range of senior and mid level roles across all types of publishing, and is the digital champion.. Previous to Inspired Selection Suzy worked at JFL as a specialist consultant for the Publishing team. Suzy has direct experience of publishing, having previously worked in rights, sales and marketing for Michael O’Mara and The Quarto Group.
After the talk, there will be an opportunity to network, so why not stick around for a drink and see who you can meet.
