Details:
Imkaan is a national second tier organisation representing violence against women services across the UK that provide specialist support and routes to safety for Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic & Refugee (BAMER) women and children.

Imkaan’s interactive conference will focus on young BAMER women and their needs experiences and objectives in the context of health, education, sexuality, violence, rights and justice. The event will include a panel discussion and workshops, the content of which will be informed by focus groups being held with young BAMER women in the lea-up to the event.

The conference will provide a unique opportunity for discussion, reflection and information exchange on the effective engagement and development of appropriate service interventions, with young BAMER women’s voices at its centre.
