Please join us for a special screening of ‘The Day I will Never Forget’, a gripping feature documentary by acclaimed filmmaker Kim Longinotto that examines the practice of female genital mutilation (FGM) in Kenya and the pioneering African women who are bravely reversing the tradition.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Naana Otoo-Oyortey from FORWARD and Lisa Gormley from Amnesty’s International Secretariat.
The session will end with a special action to help end FGM in Europe.
Admission is free but a £5 donation will be requested on the door towards the work of the Women’s Action Network.
