Please sign the petition to help save our funding – Solace Women’s Aid
Our funding for three of our services at Solace Women’s Aid is under threat to end abruptly in Mar 2011 as a result of London Council’s proposal to drastically cut their grants.
The three services at risk collectively supported 2000 service users last year and are a lifeline for the women and children they work with and provide essential referrals to a wide range of other services.
We are working tirelessly to secure alternative funding and campaigning to postpone the funding end date for as long as possible so that we are able to manage a smooth transition to an alternative funder. We are working with other organisations supporting women and we believe that London Councils should honour the current funding arrangements.
