Refuge Worker
* Salary Type: Monthly
* Salary Amount: £25,515 – £28,770

Eaves is a London-based charity working to support vulnerable women through the provision of a range of complementary services. We take an integrated approach in addressing the needs of women, and the job detailed below forms an intrinsic part of the service we provide for women and children who have experienced domestic violence.
The Refuge Worker will:
* Work directly with women who have experienced domestic violence and who are living in the refuge.
* Conduct needs and risk assessments and develop individual care and support plans in conjunction with the women.
* Provide information and support on areas such as welfare benefit, housing benefit, health services, education, legal rights and child protection.
* Be responsible for health and safety of the refuge.
You must have a strong commitment to delivering a responsive service to vulnerable women and also have the following:
* Significant experience of providing advice and advocacy in one or more of the following: Housing, Welfare benefits or Domestic Violence
* Knowledge of keywork, care planning and needs assessment
* Knowledge of relevant legislation relating to Domestic Violence, Housing, Benefits.
* Knowledge of issues facing women and children who have experienced domestic violence.
