Director – £38,575 incl ILW (plus 7.5% employers pension after probationary period)

The London Irish Women’s Centre prides itself in providing a quality holistic advice, advocacy, information, and counselling service to Irish Women.

Building on experience gained at LIWC, the current Director has secured a senior post outside London. We now require an experienced and dynamic manager to take up the role of Director to lead LIWC through this important yet challenging phase of our development with the Irish community in London.

The Director will have responsibility for developing the services and supervising the staff as well as securing the financial and operational future of the Centre. The leadership of the Director will provide the vision and drive to position LIWC at the heart of current policy making, connecting the Centre with the Irish community agenda, the wider voluntary sector and key statutory agencies. The post will be confirmed subject to satisfactory completion of a three month probationary period.

This post is open to women of Irish birth or descent. Section 29 ( c) of the Sex Discrimination Act and Section 38.1 (d) of the Race Relations Act apply. All staff are required to have a satisfactory enhanced CRB Disclosure which will be arranged. LIWC is an Equal Opportunities Employer
