We require:

Female Domestic Violence Housing Worker
Salary: £27,945 (including ILW) Hammersmith

Working within the local housing options and advice service in Hammersmith, you’ll provide a holistic service for survivors of domestic violence approaching as homeless. The post will be based across two locations in Hammersmith. Carrying a caseload of clients you’ll offer a range of housing related advice and support to women who experience domestic violence.

Office hours 9am to 5pm. You must be able to participate in an on call rota system from a mobile at home 1 week in every 8.

You’ll need a good understanding of current Housing Law and concept of Sanctuary Schemes, the effects of domestic violence, the Criminal and Civil justice systems, experience of face-to-face work with survivors of domestic violence and experience of risk assessment, risk management and safety planning.
