the nia project provides a wide range of services for women and children who have experienced sexual violence and other forms of gender violence.

The organisation is currently recruiting for the following within our Housing Services Team

1 x Support Worker
35hrs per week F/T
£25,301

We require an experienced and committed person to provide relief cover in one of our refuges. The successful applicant will be based in Hackney for 4 weeks from
13 December 2010 until 10 January 2011, and have the relevant knowledge and experience required to support women and their children who have experienced gender violence. The post will involve some evening shifts on a rota basis.

35hrs per week F/T
£25,301

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic person to work within our Housing Services Team. You will have specific responsibility for providing support, advice, advocacy and casework support to women in refuge accommodation with substance use issues who have experienced violence against women. The successful candidate must have substantial experience of casework and inter-agency practice in this or a similar field. This post is based in Haringey for 4 weeks from 13 December 2010 until 10 January 2011 and will involve some evening shifts on a rota basis.
