Female Volunteer Counsellors – Woman’s Trust – Revised training dates
Woman’s Trust is a charity based in London specialised in humanistic/person-centred counselling services working with women affected by domestic violence.
We have opportunities for placements for the East London and the Barking & Dagenham projects, and are currently recruiting female volunteer counsellors.
Placements are suitable for counsellors in the second year of a Diploma level course – or on a equivalent level – with at least 30-40 one to one supervised client counselling hours and one year of personal counselling therapy.
Please note revised Training Dates: Successful applicants will have to attend a 3 days training in West London on 15th, 16th, and 17th March 2011.
Volunteer counsellors are provided with ongoing support from an experienced specialist staff team and fortnight supervision.
Hours: Part Time (4 client hours per week and fortnightly supervision).
