Communicating in times of economic change – Women in Publishing – 9th February 2011

Join Women in Publishing at The Savoy Tup function room for our February meeting.

Our two speakers will cover corporate and internal communications, looking at the impact of cuts on publishing and communication.

Suzy Rigg is a creative writer, aspiring film-maker, PR and mother of two. She has advised blue chip companies, charities and government agencies on internal and external communications issues, helping them find to the stories that build their message and gain customers’ understanding. Other areas of expertise include creating PR strategies, leading high-profile campaigns and managing media relations.

Lorraine Graves is a marketing communications and brand management specialist with 20 years experience gained in the retail, service and public sectors. Having marketed a luxury goods brand during the recession of the early ‘90s Lorraine explores if there are new lessons to be learned second time around.
