DIY Courses For Women – WAMT – February And March 2011

Women and Manual Trades is a national organisation which has been supporting women in non-traditional jobs for over 30 years.

This February and March, we’ll be running a series of one-day DIY courses, teaching the basics of five different trades – Carpentry, Electrics, Plumbing, Painting & Decorating, and Tiling.

If you, or your clients, want to start 2011 by learning some essential new skills, then our courses are for you. Our training is delivered by professional tradeswomen, working with small, friendly, women-only groups. Each course is designed to give an introduction to the relevant trade, allowing participants to tackle small home maintenance jobs with more confidence.

Course places cost just £50 per person, per day. This includes a light lunch, and all materials. You can book online now at http://www.wamt.org/store.

If you have any questions feel free to email info@wamt.org, or call 020 7251 9192 and speak to Amanda, Louise, or Niki.
