Salary: NCJ scale point 26-28(£23,970-£25,455) inclusive OLW
Solace Women’s Aid are looking for an experienced and flexible Family Support worker to provide individual and group support including organising play sessions to children (0-16) living in our refuges through developing sessional staff and volunteers. All the families in our refuges have experienced trauma and loss due to domestic violence and have been forced to leave their homes. You will have a good understanding of the impact of trauma and loss on children of different ages and experience of working with children and their mother’s/carer’s in a multi racial setting.
