Trainee Refuge Worker at Solace Women’s Aid
30 hrs pw
Salary: NCJ scale point 12-14(£18,342- £19,032) pro rata incl ILW
Contract: Fixed Term for 2 years
You will work 30hrs a week with women who have fled domestic violence and are living in our refuges. You will provide individual support to women through our key working system and will also work with groups of women in the refuge. You will also work within the team to ensure the smooth running of the refuge.
We do not expect you to have experience of Supported Housing or specialist Domestic Violence services but an understanding of the client group is preferred. You will receive training to develop the skills necessary to deliver full support to clients.
