Central America Women’s Network 20th Anniversary Event – 31st March 2011

This free event will be held from 6.30- 8.30pm on the 31st March in London at the Human Rights Action Centre (17-25 New Inn Yard, London, EC2A 3EA).
The evening will include:
- Ø two women’s rights activists from Honduras speaking about the achievements of the women’s movement and the challenges in fighting for women’s rights in the region
Ø The launch of CAWN’s latest research: a toolkit on Violence Against Women and Poverty in Latin America – Putting intersectional analysis into practice
Ø A documentary film celebrating 20 years of CAWN’s solidarity work and its impact on women’s lives
Ø Celebratory drinks and canapés and Central American music!
