This year’s event will see hundreds of local women getting together for an afternoon to celebrate International Women’s Day with workshops, activities, and advice and information stalls to suit all interests.
The event is completely free to attend and a lot of its features will focus on helping you make the most of your money, get access to the services you’re entitled to, and do things for free.
Workshops will include singing in an informal group, crafting jewellery, and a session on motivation and empowerment.
The afternoon will close with the annual Unsung Women Awards.
There will be a drama workshop running for children and young people, and complimentary tea and coffee refreshments.
