Supporting Kurdish Women to overcome Violence – Roj Women
We are delighted to inform you that Roj Women Association has now launched a new project funded by the Big Lottery Fund: Supporting Kurdish women to challenge and overcome Violence.
Through this project Roj Women will provide free, culturally sensitive general and legal advice as well as individual counselling (up to 18 sessions) for Kurdish women who face gender based violence whether this is manifested as domestic violence, forced marriage or honor based violence. Referrals can be made from any London borough.
These are women-only services provided in Turkish, Arabic and the Kurdish dialects of Kurmanci and Sorani.
