Using psychological evidence to help women seeking asylum – training available from Imkaan on 12th May 2011
This training course is designed to develop understanding of the psychological reasons why traumatised women seeking asylum have difficulties when making an asylum claim, and to increase awareness of relevant academic psychological research and findings.
The course will also help professionals to support truamatised women seeking asylum, and increase confidence to inform others of psychological research and encourage them to refer to it.
The course cost is £45.
