Refuge, is the country’s largest specialist provider of domestic violence services for women and children escaping domestic violence. We have the following opportunities for high calibre, committed female* applicants.

Independent Domestic Violence Advocate

In this exciting new partnership-based service, you will provide court-based independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic violence who are accessing the civil and criminal justice systems in Southwark. You will work with survivors from the point of crisis, assisting them through the court process and offering intensive support to help ensure short and long-term safety.

If you have experience of providing support to women within a community-based setting, an understanding of the issues facing survivors of domestic violence and a detailed working knowledge of the civil and criminal justice systems then consider these fixed term opportunities to be part of a valuable team.

An enhanced CRB is will be required for these roles. The post is located in a police station and is therefore also subject to the Metropolitan Police Service vetting procedures.
