The West London Rape Crisis Centre provides a specialist counselling service for women who have experienced recent or historic sexual violence, including child sexual abuse, rape, prostitution, sexual assault, sexual harassment and sexual exploitation. It is one of the specialist services of Women and Girls Network (WGN),
Body Therapists (FEMALE)
£30 per session.
West London Rape Crisis Service is looking for body therapists to provide therapeutic services to women who have experienced sexual violence. Body therapies are offered to clients who are receiving counselling and include aromatherapy massage, Indian head massage, shiatsu and reflexology. These treatments recognise and respond to the effects of violence on the body and the need for healing and recovery on the physical level.
We are looking for therapists who are fully qualified and insured. A background in working with women who have suffered from trauma would be desirable. Induction training will be provided.
We seek body therapists who will thrive in a multi-cultural feminist environment.
