The GEO is currently consulting around women’s engagement with government and the new gender architecture that will replace the Women’s National Commission. The consultation seeks to find appropriate ways for the government and Ministers to engage with individual women and women’s organisations but also businesses and other organisations that work with women.
This is a crucial consultation for the women’s sector which will shape the focus of national gender policies and we urge you to respond on behalf of your organisations and as individual women.

How to use this template
* Before using this template please read it in full to ensure that your organisation agrees with the points we have put forward. WRC has designed the template to reflect the diverse views of its members; you may wish to amend sections dependent on your organisation’s views
* Please insert your organisation’s name on pages 2 and 3 (where specified) and insert your organisation’s priority areas of work/concern on pages 4,6,9,10,12 and 13
* Please feel free to add additional information to the template or use this template as the basis of your response
* Remember to change the name of the document before you send it!

Please ensure that you cc: WRC in your response as this is the key way that we can tell whether our work is effective, the more organisations use our templates the more will create them!
At the end of the template there is information on the process and discussions so far on what the new gender architecture might look like as well as a draft diagram. Please have a look at this and get back to us with any comments or thoughts. You do not have to include this in your response and we will be sending a more detailed proposal to GEO when we have had more feedback from the sector.
