the nia project provides a wide range of services for women and children who have experienced domestic violence and other forms of gender violence.
The Women’s Services team at the nia project is currently recruiting for the following vacancy:
Independent Domestic Violence Advocate Service
Hackney IDVA (Ref: 11/01)
Part time: 21 hours per week
Salary: £26, 928 p.a. (pro rata)
Fixed Term: until 31.03.12
The post holder will provide a service to survivors at high risk of repeated domestic violence in LB Hackney in order to reduce the risk of violence to themselves and their families. This will include working in partnership with local agencies, attending Hackney MARAC and supporting women through the criminal justice system.
the nia project’s IDVA service has a Quality Mark from the Legal Services Commission for General Casework (Women).
the nia project’s IDVA service adheres to the CAADA IDVA Charter
These posts will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau
